Community Guidelines

1. Scope, Definitions and Acceptance

PairNow is a real-time video and voice platform operated by Nxtspacelabs Private Limited (the "Company", "we", "us"). These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") apply to everyone who uses PairNow — both Users and Creators (each a "you") — and to all content, calls, live rooms, messages, gifts and conduct on the Platform ("Content"). They are read together with, and form part of, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and, for Creators, the Creator / Talent Agreement (together, the "Platform Policies"). Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.

Acceptance. By creating an account or using PairNow, you confirm that you are 18 years or older and that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use PairNow. Breaking these Guidelines can lead to warnings, feature restrictions, suspension, loss of Butterflies, forfeiture of Creator earnings, permanent ban, preservation of evidence, and referral to and cooperation with law-enforcement authorities.

2. Be Respectful

• Treat everyone with courtesy and kindness — on calls, in live rooms and in messages.
• Disagree politely. Do not demean, mock, pressure or provoke anyone.
• Respect a person's choice to end a call, decline a request, or block you.

3. Strictly 18+

• PairNow is only for adults aged 18 and above. You must be 18+ to register or use the app.
• Never involve, depict, target or interact with anyone under 18 on the Platform in any way.

4. No Nudity, Sexual Content or Solicitation

• Absolutely no nudity, sexual acts, pornographic, obscene or sexually explicit content — in video, voice, images, text or gestures.
• This includes partial nudity, revealing exposure, suggestive dancing, simulation of sexual activity, and any attempt to get around this rule through implied sexual content, innuendo, camera angles or "tricks".
• No soliciting, offering, arranging, advertising or paying for sexual services of any kind, on or off the Platform.

5. Zero Tolerance for Minors and CSAE

• Any content or conduct that sexualises, abuses or exploits a minor — child sexual abuse or exploitation material ("CSAE"), in visual, audio or text form, real, morphed or AI-generated — is absolutely forbidden.
• This is a zero-tolerance rule. It results in an immediate permanent ban, preservation of evidence, and mandatory reporting to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in / 1930) and law-enforcement authorities, in accordance with the POCSO Act, 2012 and the IT Act, 2000.

6. No Harassment, Bullying or Threats

• No harassment, stalking, bullying, intimidation, extortion, blackmail or threats of violence against anyone.
• No contacting or attempting to contact someone through another account after they have blocked you.
• No content that promotes or instructs self-harm or suicide, or that encourages violence against others.

7. No Hate Speech or Discrimination

• No hate speech or discrimination based on religion, caste, race, ethnicity, nationality, place of birth, language, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any protected characteristic.
• No content that insults, demeans or targets any community, or that disrespects Gods, religious deities, symbols, scriptures or beliefs of any faith.
• No content intended to create division or incite religious, caste-based or communal hatred, enmity or conflict.

8. No Illegal Goods, Drugs, Weapons or Regulated Items

• No promotion, sale, advertisement or facilitation of narcotics or recreational drugs, alcohol, tobacco, pharmaceuticals, weapons, ammunition, explosives, illegal gambling, betting or lotteries, or any goods or services that require a government licence or permit.
• No terrorism, extremism, support for or recruitment to unlawful or violent organisations, organised crime, or money laundering.
• No content encouraging or depicting substance abuse; no content involving cruelty to, exploitation of, or illegal trade in animals.

9. No Fraud, Scams or Off-Platform Solicitation

• No scams, cheating, phishing, or attempts to steal money, credentials or personal data.
• Do not ask anyone to pay you, contact you, or move the conversation off PairNow. Keep all payments and contact on the Platform.
• Do not share bank details, UPI IDs, payment links, phone numbers or personal contact information to bypass PairNow's systems.

10. No Cheating the System

• No self-gifting, collusion, fake or automated engagement, or any attempt to manipulate or game the Butterflies system or Platform metrics.
• No bots, scripts, automated tools, scraping, or exploiting bugs or technical vulnerabilities.
• No accessing PairNow from modified, rooted or jailbroken devices; no reverse-engineering, decompiling, tampering with, or disrupting the Platform or its security.
• No creating multiple, duplicate or fake accounts, and no accessing another person's account without authorisation.

11. No Impersonation, Spam or Privacy Violations

• Be yourself. No impersonation, and no fake, duplicate or misleading profiles, and no false age or identity.
• No spam, repetitive messaging, or unsolicited advertising or promotion of other apps or services without authorisation.
• Do not record, screenshot, save or share anyone's video, voice, images or personal information without their consent; do not publish another person's private details ("doxxing").

12. No Misinformation, Fake News or Deepfakes

• Do not deliberately share false, fabricated or misleading Content — including fake news, hoaxes, or manipulated or synthetic text, audio, images or video ("deepfakes") — that could deceive people, damage reputations, enable fraud, or incite conflict or public disorder.
• Satire and parody are permitted only where they are clearly identifiable and not intended to deceive.

13. Respect for National Symbols and India's Security

• Respect national symbols, including the Indian national flag, the national anthem, the national emblem and other officially recognised symbols. Content that disrespects, misuses or demeans them is not allowed.
• No content that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, harms friendly relations with foreign states, or disrupts public order.

14. Emergency Services — Important Notice

PairNow is for social connection and entertainment only. It is not a substitute for normal telephone or emergency services. Do not use PairNow to contact the police, hospitals, ambulance, fire or any emergency responder. Always keep another means of making emergency calls available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not responsible for any loss or consequence arising from attempting to use PairNow for emergency communication or from an inability to make emergency calls through the Platform.

15. Your Privacy During Calls

• To protect you, PairNow discourages and, where technically possible, restricts screenshots and screen recording during calls. Please respect the same for others.
• Do not attempt to collect another person's login credentials, real name, address, financial or biometric information, government IDs, health information, or social-media profiles, and do not share links to external platforms to gather such data.
• Calls are not end-to-end encrypted; the Company may access Content only as described in the Privacy Policy, to keep the Platform safe, enforce these Guidelines and comply with law.

16. How to Report, Block and Grievance Redressal

• Use the in-app Report option on any profile, call or live room, and Block to stop someone contacting you. You may also email grievance.officer@pairnow.in.

In accordance with Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Company has appointed a Grievance Officer whose name and contact details are published in the app. Every grievance is acknowledged within twenty-four (24) hours and resolved within fifteen (15) days of receipt. Complaints concerning content that exposes a private area, shows nudity or a sexual act, or is in the nature of impersonation (including morphed or "deepfake" content) are acted upon and the Content removed or disabled within twenty-four (24) hours as required by Rule 3(2)(b). Misusing the reporting system to harass others is itself a violation.

17. Enforcement, Consequences and Cooperation with Authorities

Depending on the severity and history of a violation, the Company may, with or without prior notice: (1) warn or restrict features; (2) suspend the account; (3) forfeit Butterflies and, for Creators, hold, reverse or forfeit related earnings; (4) permanently ban the account; and (5) remove or disable access to offending Content. For CSAE, serious sexual offences, threats to life or safety, terrorism or serious fraud, action is immediate and permanent.

The Company will preserve information and evidence, and will remove or disable access to information upon an order of a court or on being notified by the appropriate Government or its authorised agency under Section 79(3)(b) of the IT Act, 2000 and Rule 3(1)(d) of the IT Rules, 2021. The Company cooperates with the police and lawful authorities and is under no obligation to assist a violating User against such authorities.

18. Your Responsibility Under Indian Law

Beyond the actions the Company may take, you are personally responsible for your conduct on PairNow, which may attract civil or criminal liability under Indian law, enforced by the courts and authorities — not by the Company. The table below, read together with Rule 3(1)(b) of the IT Rules, 2021, sets out the main grounds and the laws that may be attracted. It is illustrative and indicative only, is not exhaustive, and is not legal advice; the applicable law, sections and their interpretation are determined by the competent authority.

19. Our Role as an Intermediary

The Company is an "intermediary" within the meaning of the IT Act, 2000 and observes the due-diligence obligations of the IT Rules, 2021. PairNow provides a platform for Users and Creators to connect; Users and Creators are solely responsible for the Content they create, share or engage with. The Company is not the author of User Content and is not liable for it except as required by law, and its responsibility does not extend to third-party services accessed through the Platform. Nothing in these Guidelines makes the Company a guarantor of any User's or Creator's conduct.

20. Important Legal Notices

• Supplemental. These Guidelines supplement, and do not replace, the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Creator / Talent Agreement. In case of conflict on a matter specifically dealt with in another Platform Policy, that Policy prevails on that matter.
• Statutory remedies preserved. Nothing here limits any remedy available to any person, or to the Company, under law; the Company's enforcement rights are without prejudice to its other legal remedies.
• No legal advice. References to statutes are provided for user awareness and platform due diligence and are not legal advice.
• Amendments. The Company may update these Guidelines from time to time; significant changes will be notified through the app or other official channels, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
• Governing law. These Guidelines are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the grievance and dispute-resolution mechanisms above, courts and arbitration are seated at Hyderabad, Telangana, as set out in the Terms of Service.
